Arlen
Brekke is a lifetime resident of Ellendale, MN. He grew
up on a farm and after graduation worked for a construction
company for two years. In 1970, he married Coleen and,
in the spring of 1971, he was drafted in the army, serving
for two years. After serving, he returned to remodeling and construction
for a short time before going into farming for 12 years.
In 1986, he started his own business, Brekke Construction,
and was incorporated in 2000. Brekke Homes & Construction
has been in business over 20 years, building new homes and commercial buildings,
remodeling, & designing housing developments.
Arlen is known for his honesty, integrity and his joyous personality. His interests include bible studies, church activities and, for the past 18 years, singing with the Christian contemporary musical group, Praise Him. He enjoys physical fitness and spending time with his family. With his son, Scott, Arlen has expanded Brekke Homes & Construction to the Twin Cities and surrounding areas.
Scott Brekke’s passion for remodeling and construction started early, growing up with the family business. In 2000, Scott earned his Bachelor Degree in Construction Management at Mankato State University. After working for area builders and earning his Real Estate license, Scott decided to work with Arlen, expanding Brekke Homes & Construction to the greater Twin Cities area. Scott’s outgoing, honest and creative personality and his passion for making dream homes a reality are assets he brings to the business. His interests include biking, physical fitness, reading, church activities and spending time with his family. |
